iOS iPhone SDK failed to mount...What to do?

When i show in finder and open it says failed to mount...not recognized. what should i do. i have 390gb of disc space left so that is not the problem.

Sounds like a corrupt download. Re-download and try again.

Are you downloading over wifi? I had one access point that was somehow corrupting large downloads. Would try to mount, but then give some sort of error. Downloading from a wired hub worked.

Try repairing permissions first. That might work.

Go to Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility. Click on your Mac partition and click on "Repair Permissions"

This fixes odd bugs that happen in OS X.
