I was at a local ATT store and wanted to upgrade my SE to the 128gb version (to keep almost all my iTunes on it). They said they have been having a hard time getting SE's in stock or ordered. One guy said he placed an order for a customer and a day later it was cancelled. The guy I spoke with said he hadn't been able to get an SE for several weeks, and if so only a 32gb Grey.
So I ordered on Apple.com and it's on it's way now. I don't know if ATT supply has anything to do with end of life on a product.
My personal opinion on an SE-2 is that it's likely not going to happen. The rumors haven't been strong enough or consistent enough to warrant belief in another round of the 5/SE-form factor body, or any small screen variant.

Looking at Verizon, they have plenty in stock in my area. So there’s probably no real truth or underlying reason why AT&T would not have stock of the SE. It Could simply be a certain time frame when they receive shipments, but I think it’s way too early to making determinations just because of one carrier doesn’t have stock of a certain phone.
