Given you are in the market For a phone, would you rather purchase the new SE, or the iPhone XR?

XR: Bigger screen 6.1" (with notch), Bigger body, heavier (6.84 ounces), FaceID, longer battery life, A12 Bionic, $599

SE: Smaller screen 4.7" (no notch), Smaller body, lighter weight (5.22 ounces), TouchID, less battery life, A13 Bionic, $399

Decide what is important to you and make a choice.

SE for multiple reasons. Cheaper with a better processor are obvious advantages everyone appreciates. Personally, I prefer Touch ID and dislike the enormous size of the XR.

XR because better battery, bigger screen, no huge bezels/home button etc. Though as someone who was in the market for an upgrade from my 8, I ended up buying the 11 just a few days ago, I did consider the XR but I find the A13/ultra wide (I take a lot of pictures) make the 11 better value.

The SE, mainly for the A13 processor combined with low entry cost. Then there’s the longevity of the design. It’s classic iPhone. The iPhones with the current notch will date poorly when Apple shrinks it in the 2020 models.
