Sorry if I'm late to the game on this. Just sold my XS and using my backup SE for the time being, this is the original SE not the 2020 version. I noticed that haptic touch doesn't work in notifications. I'm running IOS14 beta 4. Is this a known issue?

As I recall it's not there when it comes to notifications on devices that don't support Face ID -- even the current 2020 version of SE doesn't support it (in iOS 14 or 13).

Thanks. I have another original SE running IOS 13 and that doesn't support haptic touch for notifications either.

I thought iPhone 8 did support haptic touch and 3D Touch on notifications.

Even iPads without face ID can use long presses to reply to notifications on the lock screen, but an iPhone? Nah, can't be bothered to make a convenient feature work on that.

In iOS 13 on SE new notifications coming in at the top of the screen can be long pressed on, but the ones in NC and the lock screen can't be.

The original title is misleading since OG SE doesn’t support Haptic Touch or any haptic feedback
