Other iPhone sending images in text messages to Android

I have a friend who has a Galaxy Fold 4. When I send her text messages, she gets them quickly but if I attach an image to them, they can take a long time. In our friend circle, she’s the only one with an Android phone and she has the same problems when receiving messages from other iPhone users. We are all on T-Mobile.

Is this a normal thing? Whenever she sends me a text message with an attached image, I receive it very quickly on iMessage.

I had her look at the info and it just says Messages. The icon looks like Google Messages.

Images take more time to go though than just text?

Yeah. It takes a minute or two for her to get text messages that have an image attached. Not always, but often enough to be really annoying.
