iphone sleep?

Hey guys, anyone know about the iphone and putting the display to sleep? does it have to lock? i know that it locks after a minute, or whatever - and the screen turns off, but i like the option of not having to unlock it every time. Is there nothing like that?

I don't think so, there's a pin number for the sim - thats about it
