After updating to iOS 12.2, when charging my iPhone Xs Max overnight using a 5W Qi charger the smart battery case is still almost dead the next morning. Any idea?

When using a fast charger everything works as normal.

Try removing the case and charging that first. This sometimes happens with my 6S battery case...

Had some weird problems myself. iPhone was in the case whole night charging. When I woke up, my iPhone was 100% and the case 0%. Plugged them both in at work and the case started charging. Everything was ok for a couple of days.

Three days later: same scenario but my iPhone didn't even mention the case, it was so depleted it wasn't even recognised anymore. I removed the case and charged it on its own. (discovered there's a small LED in there to show the status: cool) and this seems to have "reset" the case. Has been a couple of weeks now without any issues. The case is working like when I just got it.
