Well, it appears as if anyone can now use the iPhone anywhere; as long as they buy a Turbo Sim:

I read about this too... it seems like most of the hackers view this as just an interim step, though, towards an unlocking process that does not require any specialized hardware, right?

In any event, where exactly does one get their hands on a TurboSIM? I guess, if nothing else, someone might end up selling pre-loaded TurboSIMs with the file the iPhone needs on them on the semi-down-low....

I want to use this with Rogers as well. Have you got ur turbo sim yet? and if you have let me know how it works. This would be amazing

That will not happen, at least not from the manufacturer. They in no way want to be involved in any legal ramifications so they are simply selling the tools to do the job. If you have hacked your phone at all the process isn't that bad.
