I am having some trouble with my iPhone, Everything seems to be ok apart from playing music. When a track is played, a random popping sound can be heard coming from the right side of the stereo output. I have tried this through many different output devices ? iPhone speakers/earphones and through the dock into an amplifier. I have tried various music sources ? downloads and rips from original CD?s, but the problem continues. The sound does not occur at the same point in tracks and it can be for 2 seconds or 10 seconds. Sometimes it will take several minutes before the problem happens. But other times it will do it every few seconds. This makes me think there is a hardware/firmware problem.

Any ideas? also its a unlocked, jailbroken 1.1.4...

Thanks P........

Mine makes a popping sound when changing tracks, but I think it has something to do with soundcheck...

Have you tried turning SC on/off?
