Hey guys.
This is bothering me for a long time but since the release of iOS11 I could freak out!

When my iPhone is connected to my car vie BlueTooth, it starts streaming randomized tracks feom my music library, but also tracks not downloaded to my iPhone.
This happens although I have streaming disabled in the settings.
You can imagine whan happens in hinsight of my data plan.

What bugs me most is that I don‘t even want that shuffle play ****, since I want to listen to my music in a certain order.

Do you have an idea what I could do?
Thanks for any reply. ;)

Hmmm i had the same problem i think you need to disable it at 2 different places, once in the music app settings , and once in the cellular settings... Settings>cellular>music and turn it off, that should fix your problem, but then when you wanna play a song that is not on the device, you have to turn everything on again :/

I have the exact same issue. It's super annoying especially because I typically start playing podcasts right away (via Apple's own app), and then random music cuts in and starts playing a few seconds later. I've submitted this a couple times to no avail.

I've had the same thing forever, since I started streaming bluetooth in my car 5 years ago, regardless of which iOS. It seems to happen mostly either 1) when I haven't played any music for a while and used the phone for a bunch of other things, so it's like the phone forgot what it was playing, and/or 2) I haven't rebooted the phone in a while. And 2 is somewhat of an offshoot of 1.

I agree, it is really annoying.

Make sure to track down exactly what is playing music, though. Pandora had some bugs in it where it would do this exact thing, about 6 months ago (they were working on a fix). What I'm saying is - make sure it is not Pandora or another 3rd party app that is jumping in and auto playing.
