I've owned Blackberry's since they first came out. I dropped them for the iPhone the day it was released....

Since then I've owned the Curves, Storms, Javelins, original bold and now the 9700 ... reason being I "think" that typing and emailing and text is better/more accurate than the iPhone because of the keyboard. I'm very fast typing on a Blackberry with no errors, I'm fast on iPhone but it still doesn't feel right without a physical keyboard I guess, (imo)

But, the 9700 sucks so much at everything else I'm selling it. Not great for web, evernote, etc etc etc ...

I'm curios to try something else, anyone using the newer phones running Android, how are they for typing, is there any particular model or brand that's better?

Just can't beat the iphone, it lacks a few things in the email department that I miss from the BB but overall the iPhone rocks.

Any happy users with the Android phones?

Wow, how do you go thru all these phones and different wireless companys that fast?
Full price for them or alot of ETF's?

We have a Corporate Account, I have 12 or so staff using smart phones, mostly blackberry's ... I pop in my SIM and try them all out ....

gadget junkie here :)

How's the phones running google's software? Any here like/dislike, own one?

Oh, I see.
Its always good to have many different phones to try out.
I want to stop by a Verizon store to try out the Droid in person to see how it feels.
I hated the Storm for those 5 minutes that I did use it, not sure if the Storm2 is that much different.

I carry a Sprint Hero for my work phone. Typing on it is ok, but I still do better on my personal iPhone. With the Sprint hero I think the biggest issue, for me anyway, is the smaller screen. That equals less space for the keyboard. I use the landscape keyboard on the Hero when possible but hate landscape on the iPhone because it feels to spaced out for my thumbs. The Sprint Hero is multi touch unlike some of the other Android models so that helps it. A feature I like is that keys have more then one symbol or number. So if you want a 1 all you do is hold down Q and and you get a 1. I am enjoying my Android experience so far and like you have been through many Blackberry models, WinMo, Pre, and dumb phones on Sprint and Tmobile thanks to our corporate account.
