Iphone stolen

as you can probably tell by the title my iphone got stolen and i had no mobile me so its basically gone anyway when i went to the att store and said im gunna buy a diffrent phone for now because i want to wait for the nbew one likly around june they told me that their will not be a new iphone this year because of the ipad. I found this completly bogus i want to know what you all think. also as a little message to remember BUY MOBILE ME youll be sorry if your iphone gets stolen I have a blackberry curve for now until a new iphone comes out i miss the iphone so much nothing compares to it

AT&t rep doesn't know neither do any of us for sure! only one that knows for sure is Steve Jobs and a few chosen ones. I highly doubt AT&T guy is right Ipad vs Iphone they are not that similar. if you can hold off till June that's what I would do. or get a 3G for a few months.

That's one of the reasons I got MobileMe. Is for the event I lost my iPhone.

The only thing I sorta dislike is MobileMe uses the same PW for all areas. I'd like if you could set a different PW for the find my iphone portion.

I'd say 90%+ of the people at Apple don't know if a new iPhone is coming in June. Unless some person (singular) way up in the chains at ATT if that. No regular employee has any more info then anybody else. Just speculation.

I say a new iPhone is coming though.

Thats probably what they tell customers so they can buy now instead of wait 4-5 months.
The ipad has nothing to do with it.

I wonder if this is a thing throughout all AT&T stores, because I remember a few weeks ago there was also another post of a rep saying the same exact thing. I guess they are really trying to push iPhone sales, but anyone that falls for that will not be happy come early July. It's just not right.
