You might need explain a bit more ….. what you say doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Hi, same problem: yesterday iPhone X from iOS 14.8 to 15 and now I've got the bug. Tapping the warning and nothing happens. I've 14.2 GB of free space, hope it will be possible to solve :(

I get a notification in the settings menu that my Iphone storage is almost full. Normally you tap the notification to deal with it. This one doesnt open anything and doesnt go away. Also i have 20GB free storage.

What happens if you tap through on it? Does it show more info? or does it update it's estimate of free space?

If nothing else, you might want to try restarting your phone. perhaps there are some large temp files left over from the upgrade that need to be purged?

Tapping on it does nothing which indicates that it must be some kind of bug.

I have the same problem on my iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd Gen). I have 30gb free.

While I have seeing that silly badge, I know Apple will fix it. It's just irritating because my first response was "ok, maybe the update was larger than I thought. I'll start deleting stuff to fix this."

I have googled the problem and it seems that it is a wide issue so it would be surprising if apple didnt come up with a fix pretty soon.
