Iphone stuck in restore mode ? Help greatly appreciated!

I accidently (like an idiot) tried to install installer on my iphone that wasnt jailbroken (preparing to virginize) and now my phones stuck on the restore mode screen (yellow sign with please connect to itunes) and now i'm unsure as what to do as i dont want to restore via itunes to 1.1.4 ... help please

Try this:

In the dock, hold down the home button, keep holding down, unplug from dock, still holding home button, plug back into dock.

Dont know what else there is to do, no doubt someone here will, dont panic!!

download the firmware version that you want. Put your iPhone in restore mode and when iTunes asks you to restore hold down shift and click restore. Point it to the downloaded firmware and you can restore.

my sisters phone has done that twice. all i did was use ziphone and jailbreak and activate, and it worked like normal. i didnt lose any data. hope that helps.
