It just does not have the same feeling it did before I had the the home screen feels crowded the screen does not look half as good. And it feels slow after using the iPad. Try going back to the iPhone is hard

Unless you are wanting to be leaving your house and going out and about with it in your pocket, and/or making phone calls ;)
I know what you mean though.

Yeah me and my friends were saying the exact same thing. It kinda sucks lol. Hopefully 4.0 will make the iPhone feel "new" again.

I've always thought my iPhone 3G was plenty fast, especially after moving from the original.

But my god, the iPad just blow it away. Even things like swiping through the apps, iPad is twice as fast:eek:

The iPhone will catch up the only real question is will the net books and the slate and everything else catch up to the iPad so that Apple will have incentive to keep making the iPad better.

After seeing what apple did with the iPad I am geniunely excited for the next iPhone.

The iPad is just soooooo fast is is amazing. If the iPhone can get some of this love I'll be a happy person.

iPhone? Crap, I forgot I have an iPhone--where did I put it? I probably have dozens of missed calls. Oh noes!!

Seriously though--my iPhone battery the last few nights has been in the 80% range when going to bed. That has NEVER happened before, lol. Even on my honeymoon!

iPad = longer iPhone battery! Our prayers have been answered. The iPad really is magical!

Even on my honeymoon!

lol

After a stressful morning... it is always good to read something to make you laugh out loud

But am glad for you guys.. at least you are pleased with the product... Am not getting it, will probably when There is stylus, pressure sensor, and Photoshop available as I need something to draw on... Am hopeless at reading:p But am honestly glad for you guys. Ive always believed that this product will answer the prayers for those who do see the purpose of it:)

I'm still using the iPhone like mad. I find the experience of going from iPad to iPhone is quite good and pleasant.

I've had the same experience as a lot of you...I go back to the iPhone and it's like, "Meh...this thing isn't nearly as cool (or fast) as it used to be..."

I look at the screen now and say "Wow, this thing's REALLY small, isn't it?" and I *NEVER* used to think that way.

There is, however, one thing the iPhone does better than the iPad (making phone calls doesn't count, since the iPad can't do it at all), and that's Skype.

Being able to hold the device to your ear like a telephone blows away the iPad. I'm sure Skype works fine on the iPad, but it's like using it on a laptop, and not as intuitive as on the phone :)

I only played with the ipad last night at best buy for about an hour and the first time I took out my iPhone it shocked me how small it felt. My 3Gs is plenty speedy, but the ipad is crazy fast.

I have to admit what I think was pretty neat was the square application, which I was reading on macrumor's news, and of course Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. As a graphics artist that is amazing... but I would love to see pressure sensitivity (unless am missing somethng and Sketchbook Pro does come with pressure sensitivity). But stuff like that really makes the iPhone look bit useless compared to the iPad, but the iPhone still has its uses

lol

I agree - very funny!

I relate to him though as a huge web surfer at home.

Im dying for the iPad to arrive as my iPhone is always getting zapped and recharged and my Macbook Air has limited battery useage

I said the same thing to my family the other day.. my 3G S feels slow and cramped after using my iPad, even for a short amount of time.

My iphone feels small to, infact I cant believe apple managed to get an Ipad inside an iphone case, especially with the extra phone componets and camera, amazing!!

Same here. I am now mostly using my iPhone as a... PHONE!

That was never the situation for me. Now the iPhone just feels like a kids toy after using the iPad. Now my hope is the next iPhone is an iPhone Nano!

lmao.....i thought i was the only one just using the iPhone as a "phone" now and the iPad for everything else. Who would have ever thought........

I have to agree it feels tiny. The plastic case makes it feel cheap as well.

Before Saturday I never had any of these complaints.

Last year, I couldn't wait until Summer 2010 to upgrade my iPhone 3G. Now I don't even care. I wonder if Apple anticipated this reaction and that's why they're (reportedly) working with Verizon to release the iPhone on their network too?
