iPhone support stylus input/writing?

A big plus to my current smartphone is being able to write little notes here and there. Any word on if it even supports the usage of one?

i think the early word on it (as in when it was first introduced) was that it could detect the difference between a finger and a stylus and not work with a stylus. and you wouldn't be able to scribble notes anyway as there is no handwriting recognition since the phone doesn't have a stylus.

as for if using it to push buttons will work...guess we'll find out friday

Yes, that's what Apple said. Which was total BS.

It doesn't "detect" the difference... because it doesn't even KNOW a stylus is near it

As for notes, lots of people draw little notes in their own handwriting.

How do you know? And it's not knowing whether or not there is a stylus touching it, but rather whether or not there is a FINGER touching it. Much like a laptop trackpad, it only works with your finger.
