Hi,
I need to sync the iPhone two two different computers. My Home computer and my office computer. Is this possible?
At my home computer I want iPhone to sync photos, music, , etc.
Adresses would sync over mobile me.
But I need to sync just callenders via office, as mobileme doesn´y synd calDav callenders(located locallyon a 10.5 Server) over moile me. So the offce callenders won´t sync.
Is this possible?
THANK you.
Any suggestions to get my calDav callenders synced with home?
>Thank You!!!

ok

ya u can always sync with your office and then click manually manage music then you can go to the photo tab and click manually manage photos so you can go home and drag an drop your photos and your music to your iphone or if the photo thing doesnt work you can use mobileme for your photos and then you can manually manage you music from home and then you can sync your phone with the work comp. so you have you calander and stuff.
hope this helps .

I sync my iphone with 2 computers. Both are set to manually manage music and videos and also i have unchecked the automatically sync when this iphone is connected option. In my home computer i sync ringtones, music, photos, podcast, video and applications and in my work computer i just sync only the Info (calendar etc).

So, how do you sync, photos and Music? at home?

So, how do you sync, photos and Music? at home?

For music and videos, you drag and drop the files from your iTunes library to the iPod icon that appears on the left hand side of iTunes when it's connected. With photos it's the same as with auto-sync, you initially select the folder you want to sync the photos from and then it syncs every time the iPod is connected.

that's also how u get your friends music

I knew I wasn't the only one who synced with two comps cuz it's really easy

So, how do you sync, photos and Music? at home?

Disable automatic sync on both computers using..."Edit", "Preferences", "Devices" and check mark the box. Do this BEFORE plugging in your iPhone.

Once disable is set, then plug in your iPhone at home. Go to each Tab and select the folders that you want to use at home and on the info Tab uncheck everything. At work do the reverse, check all Info tab choices and deselect all of your other tabs.

In your summary tab you can do as stated above and manually manage your music by dragging and dropping or you can do what I do and build Smart Play Lists and then sync those play lists.

Once you are set up, click your sync button and you are rollin!

Simple thing to remember is that EACH tab can only sync with one computer...IF...the data is different, so whatever tab is active on one computer should be inactive on the other. Also BOTH computers MUST be authorized under the same iTunes user account. You can authorize upto 5 computers per account.

Hope that answers your question...Good Luck
