Have we seen any pictures of what the iPhone will plug into to booth for charging and syncing. The reason I ask is while i don't mind having my ipod hooked up to my laptop in the evenings to charge and sync. I certainly don't want my phone to have to be hooked into a comp simply to charge. Maybe they will have a separate power cord like the ipod. Does anyone know what is going on in this area or is it still unclear?

in SJ's keynote, he shows us what the dock looks like. it's basically the same as the iPod's, with just a minor adaptation so the iPhone will fit flush with it. It's probably so Apple can make more money instead of people just using their iPod docks. The dock IS supposed to come with the phone though, just like iPod's did a few years ago.

right the dock is supposed to come with it, that makes sense. I can't recall though whether the A/C adapter for the charger was part of the package as well with the older iPods and if this would be included?

The older, original iPod models came with a cable, wall charger, and dock (for the 3G + 4G). Somewhere around the 3G/4G they started removing items from the iPod package, depending on the price point you got.

does anyone know if the dock will also have a slot for the bluetooth to charge, or did i see that as a concept somewhere?

Bluetooth is part of the phone; it doesn't charge independently from it.

What I meant was the headset, how will that be charged? Will it come with a seperate charger (adding more wires and taking away more outlets) or will is it going to be able to plug it into the dock along with the phone. I might've seen a concept drawing (maybe a patent) about this somewhere, or maybe it's been confirmed.

Also, is it just me or has anyone noticed that the screen names on this board are preceded by an adjective? Is that something new or has the forum been hacked?

I don't know the answer to the bluetooth question, but it is a great point about how annoying it would be to have a separate charger just for that. Like Steve said in the Keynote, the whole point was to make an easy functional design, it would be out of step with that desire if they did not include it as part of the dock, however I fear it will not be an included feature.
