Aloha everyone,

I hope everyone's 4th of July has been spectacular! I will enjoy watching the fireworks later on tonight myself.

I have a question about syncing with the iPhone. I created two additional playlists, namely iPhone Music and iPhone Video Podcasts. When I sync my iPhone, however, ONLY the iPhone Music playlist is synced over. Has anyone else experienced this behavior? I've included accompanying screenshots.

Your screenshots only show that you've checked off stuff in the "Music" section of your iPhone settings. There is a separate "Podcasts", "TV Shows", and "Movie" section as well (which might be relevant). Likely its the "podcast" one you want to look into. Make sure the individual podcast is chosen and that the options are set to capture the episode you want. A little sucky.

Aloha Cleverboy,

Thanks for the quick reply. The thing is, I don't have ANY podcasts selected for syncing (in that section) - I only bring over the playlists (the 0-Daily playlist is my daily podcast listening playlist). I wanted to see if I could include some video podcasts. I think that maybe the resolution is a bit off, but I'm not sure.

You dont show the bottom of the window where it has "*Sync Video" with a check box... is that checked?

*Or something similar, cant remember the actual verbiage used

It looks like you want to sync a video podcast, but you don't have any podcasts selected to sync? You have the "iPhone Video Podcast" playlist checked off in the MUSIC section, but this will ONLY sync MUSIC found in your "iPhone Video podcast" playlist. Just because the playlist is named "iPhone Video Podcast", and shows up in your music section (checked off) ONLY means it will be syncing "music" from it. You need to have that playlist addressed in your PODCAST section in order for it to sync. If NOTHING is checked off in your PODCAST section, then none of your podcasts wiMark tll ever sync to your iPhone.

Try this:
1. Now, go to the Podcast section of your iTunes
2. Find that specific podcast, and select Top Level of the podcast (name of podcast with arrow to the left) and mark them all "Mark as Not New".
3. Go to the specific video podcast episode you want to sync, and "Mark as New"
4. Go to podcast section of iPhone settings
5. Choose "Selected Podcasts" instead of "all podcasts"
6. Choose the podcast the video came from
7. Make sure "Sync" is checked
8. Choose "1 most recent unplayed"
9. Choose apply

If that doesn't fix it, I don't know what would! ;)
