iPhone Tethering?

Sorry if it's already been discussed, I search and found nothing. Does anyone know, or have an opinion on whether or not the iPhone will allow tethering or not. Thanks.

I am going to guess that it doesn't. This is, for all intents and purposes, not a coporate customer device. I understand their wanting to support push email, but I don't see this apple device being used as a bridge for internet service.
