iPod iPhone timed out when transferring songs

Hi,

I am trying to transfer songs to my iPhone 3G (about 1500 songs). However after the first 250-300, iTunes pops up saying - "The iPhone can not be read to due to the device timing out.".

I am running Vista and have never had this issue before. I've also tried restoring the iPhone.

Anyone else had this problem previously?

why dont you try reset your itunes and iphone totally(reinstall itunes and reset iphone from setting) and try back..
that happened to me like an year ago with my first iphone worked fine after resetting everything from the beginning.
