iphone times out when I sync it

How do I fix this? I did a master restore but it still says "The iphone can not be synced at this time. The device was timed out." Then I get another pop up from itunes and it says "The iphone cannot be synced, The required disk cannot be found"

Please help me, I just got a new Dell 17 laptop and this is my main pc

I got it to work! My friend said sometimes it could be the usb ports. My laptop has three usb ports so I tried the lastone and it finally worked!
