I bought an iPad on release day here in the UK. Loving it so far.

One of the uses of our iPad is to keep our daughter entertained on long car journeys. Even at the top end spec, it's still cheaper than a factory ordered DVD player.

Trouble is, she will fiddle with it :)

Is there any way I could use an iPhone (or remote -- anything!) to get the movie back on without having to stop the car and press the buttons for her?

I know the alternative is to mount the iPad far enough away ... but I was hoping for a more elegant solution.

Thoughts?

Don't think so, nothing without jail breaking it I guess. Probs best to cover the screen and home button somehow so it can't be touched.
