iPhone to iPhone transfer and discrepancy in photo size ?

I know there must be logical answer to this. Transferred iPhone 14 to 16 using direct transfer in general storage shows I’m about 23GB lighter now on the 16 pro max than I was with the 14PM which I can work out. However my photos is a few GB lighter storage wise now on the 16PM even though the photo count is the same on both devices?

Looks like 25,493 vs 25,498 photos. Has it completely synced now?

No. I just discovered another critical issue posted in the iPhone help section just now. My iMessages in the iCloud is only showing 810MB but was 25GB in iCloud before. 🥲
