Am I the only one with this issue? Handoff works fine going from my mac to my iphone, but not the other way around.

iPhone to Mac handoff not working at all

I had to log out of iCloud on my rMBP, then log back on before it communicated smoothly with my iPhone 6+. Continuity is the bomb.
It's not working on my mac either. To make things worse, after playing around with both my iPhone and my mac trying to get it to work, it has now stopped working on my iPhone. I'm not sure I'll ever need it, but I want the stupid thing to work because it should! C'mon, Apple!
are the bluetooth between the phone and mac suppose to be "connected"? Mine keeps saying not supported when I try to connect them
Text that I start on either phone or mac do not transfer over to each other(not sure if they are suppose to) but they do open to the right person I am sending the text to
Email seems to be working that does transfer over everything how it's suppose to

Okay, I've read in multiple threads (including a poster above) now that logging out of iCloud on the mac and logging back in enables handoff. I was holding off because I thought it would take a while to delete all those services from my Mac and reinstate them, but it actually took about 2 minutes. And it works!
Just for the record, from what I have read, calling from the mac requires the same wifi network, and handoff requires bluetooth. All functions seem to be working on my mac and iPhone now. Hooray.

How do you make calls from your Mac using your iPhone? I tried turning on iPhone Cellular Calls in FT but it says "Cannot Turn on iPhone Cellular Calls - FT and iCloud must be signed into the same Apple ID to us iPhone Cellular Calls." They are both signed into the same Apple ID....odd.
Its really strange.. my 2008 Aluminum Macbook is able to make phone calls via my iPhone 5C. I thought that feature was only going to work with Macs with bluetooth 4.0. Hopefully texting will work with my mac once 8.1 is released

Nope. Other poster is right, it uses wifi.

I tell you, it's all so buggy. My best advice is to sign out of iCloud on both devices then sign back in. Make sure wifi is on and both devices are on the same network. Good luck.
I just did this and it still doesn't work for me...plus, I had to reset all of the iCloud settings on my rMBP.
EDIT: After logging out and in of iCloud, turning off and on Bluetooth, rebooting both the phone and rMBP, I can finally get communication from my iPhone 5S to my rMBP (icon shows up next to the dock in Yosemite).

Yelp, I probably did all that in the process, too. It's working incredibly well now.
Tried this and didn't work on my Air. Keeps dropping the connection right after I connect. Oh well.

Instant Hotspot Supported: No

I too can get Handoff from iPhone to Mac but not the other way around. Will try the log out log in fix.
Can you handoff and active call from the phone to the Mac? And vice versa, when you need to leave?
Also, is SMS relay live yet. Is anyone getting non-iMessage texts via Messages?
