iPhone to MobileMe Gallery to Apple TV?

Has anyone found a way to get their iPhone 3GS videos to show up on their Apple TV via Mobile Me?

You would think this would be seamless. However, for some reason 3GS videos publish to a MobileMe "Photo Gallery" instead of a "Movie Gallery." Therefore, they won't show up on the Apple TV.

I take it Apple needs to either update the Apple TV to show "movies" within a MobileMe photo gallery or update the iPhone software to allow you to publish movies into a MobileMe movie gallery instead?

The entire Apple TV/Mobile Me integration is odd anyway. It doesn't make sense to navigate to Photos -> MobileMe to see videos stored on your MobileMe account. However, that's where they're located.

I understand that a Video Gallery in MobileMe would be useful, but the YouTube integration on the iPhone and the Apple TV would kind of render it useless.

Only advantage would enable you to privately control your videos I guess.

Yeah. I don't think people on YouTube want to see family videos, etc. MobileMe movie galleries are obviously a feature on the Apple TV since they're supported under photos. However, someone didn't fully develop out the 3GS' MobileMe integration.

I left feedback on Apple's Web site for MobileMe, iPhone and Apple TV. Surely, one of them will fix it in a future update.

When on trips away from the family it's cool to have your little videos of what you're doing appear in the lounge on the atv. The family wouldn't have the knowledge to get it any other way.

So I agree better integration between iPhone ang atv please apple.
