iPhone ToDos?

After seeing the picture of the calendar application on the recent Apple/AT&T/Cingular mailing, I didn't see any spot for ToDos. Is there any chance the iPhone ships without built-in to-do support? And if there are to-dos is there any chance of categories, or is this basically going to be iCal on the iPhone?
