iPhone 14 Pro Max iPhone trade-in. Got 765$ instead of $720. Wondering why.

So I bought 14promax.

I traded in my 13 promax 128gb. Offer was 720$ which seemed like great deal.

Just got my refund on Apple Card and kinda scratching my head. I was given 765$. Anyone seen this or know why?

I usually do trade ins every year. I noticed this year I think actual company i shipped back to was apple not a trade in partner. shipping label for old device was AI in Elk Grove CA. Is apple no longer using trade in partners on some models?

I figured it out. It was also including the 6.25% pre paid tax on the 720$ which comes to 45$.

720 + 45 = 765$.
