iphone Turn-by-Turn Directions

Are there and 3rd party apps being released friday with turn by turn directions that anyone knows about or can provide links about?

There is a rumor floating around that TomTom will be releasing an App, but apparently the license agreement for the SDK states that it is a violation of the agreement to create such an App. Who knows if this is just some legal thing to cover Apple in the event of a law suit due to such an App or if Apple will not let one be posted on the App Store.

So what if they dont release it through the SDK? Host the app somewhere else and put it in itunes. iTunes was proven to accept internet apps also.

I bet apple will give TomTom a free pass to develop a turn by turn nav-style app. They need to draw up a speical contract or agreement, i would assume (i.e. tom tom won't be able to just upload it to the app store)
