iPhone TV Out+iPhoneRemote=Portable AppleTV?

I was watching a movie streamed from my MacBook on my iPhone using iPhoneRemote http://code.google.com/p/telekinesis/ and was wondering if it would be possible to use the TV out function from firmware 1.1.1(I'm still running 1.0.2) basically making it a poor man's but portable TV. If it's not possible now would it be possible in the future via hack or app?

What I want to know is how can I show the Safari browser, or any other app besides video and pictures on the video out w/firmware 1.1.1?! Would be nice to have a bigger screen sometimes to show websites...
