Hey
I've had this problem when I bought season 3 of Skins from iTunes

Everything works fine in iTunes, all the data is correct etc. but when I sync to my iPhone the episodes sync in the wrong order (top - episode 10, bottom - episode 1) AND next to each episode it gives the date 14/01/2000? The season came out in 2009

I've gone through everything in iTunes and even opened it in Subler to look at the metadata but nowhere does it reference that date, it just randomly chose it and put it next to each episode

Is there a way to fix these things as they are pretty annoying to look at. It only happens with TV shows.

Attatched a screenshot

Thanks in advance

1. The iPhone always arranges TV Show episodes from most recent (Episode 10 in your case) to oldest (Episode 1). As far as I know, there’s no way to fix that.

However, if you create a playlist with the TV show episodes in the order you want and sync that to your phone — it should show up the way you want.

2. You should be looking for the “release date” tag in Subler. It looks like iTunes or more likely the content provider didn’t provide the correct release date (or one at all) for Skins, Season 3.

You should be able to manually correct it in Subler, and then re-import the file back into iTunes.

TV.com and thetvdb.com should have the dates for the episodes in question.

I would also report the problem to iTunes support. It’s likely they’re not aware of the problem.

I opened an episode in Subler and the release date was just '2009'. I changed it to the correct date and checked back, it now reads 24/06/2030? I think I'm going to have to go through every combination of numbers until its correct
