iPhone UK Launch Date?

Has there been any new info on when the iPhone will be released in the UK?

My contract ends this month, and I am wondering wether to wait for the iPhone or not... how long will it be?

I recon the plan is to release it for the chrismas shopping period - its a big one for mobile sales.

i can wait 6 months, but not much longer. i WANT it!!! wonder if i could buy a us one, will have to wait and see!

i think the iPhone should be out in UK in 12 months.

It should have the addition of 3g for the UK market

i hope not! maybe 2nd gen in about 18 months with 3g
