iPhone UK phone numbers...

I have a Us iphone which works perfectly apart from one thing. I have saved all of my contacts into the phone. In the Uk,numbers begin with 07, yet when I recieve a call or SMS, the numbers begin with +44, making it look like the numbers have not been saved on my contact list. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Change all your contacts to +447**********. Your iphone still has an American mind.

Unzip/extract then navigate to /System/Library/Frameworks/AppSupport.framework/ and overwrite the original.

(Once unzipped it will become a file called AppSupport - file MUST be unzipped before you send it over to the phone)

Reboot and enjoy.

This is not directly relivant, but helped me massivly!

you know in the iphone when you type in a number with keypad it looks like so ' 012 34567890 '

well this: http://iphone.unlock.no/#number-formating changes it to the proper uk format of:

01234 567890

Not in my case - my iPhone 1.1.4 is originally from the US and when a local number rings me it comes up with "019... " and NOT "+4419...."

Is there an app in the Installer that can help fix this issue?
Re-numbering all my phone numbers for if I'm in or out of the country isn't really practical...
