iphone update stopped and phone won't work

okay here is the problem i tried to update my phone with some new software and it almost finished where suddenly it stopped and said i tunes cannot access your phone please unlock your phone with the proper sim code or something like that and now i cant use the ipod or anything and it just keeps saying slide for emergency

now my phone doesn't show up in the itunes so i cant figure out how to do a restore so that is where im stuck
