Are the new processors and capabilities for the iphone being added to the touch as well?
 
I'm pretty sure that except for OpenGL ES 2.0 support, the Touch already has the specs of the 3GS.
 
I don't think we've ever seen updates to the iPod line during WWDC. Wait till September. That's when the iPod events are.
 
that would make sense. i was kinda surprised that apple updated nearly all of there products and left out one of there biggest money makers

Gotta give people a reason (at least for the time being) to think the iPhone is the best product between the two - especially for the early adopters. But yea, September is when they'll more than likely announce an update to the iPod Touch, giving it everything the 3GS has (and then some) and of course a bump to 64gb.
