Ok, so I have an iPhone 3G & am on a family plan with my mom & dad. I wasn't upgrade eligible, but my mom was. I ordered the iPhone 3GS online from the Apple Store using her line. Now the problem is that she has a Samsung Blackjack & she does not want my iPhone 3G. When the iPhone 3GS comes, is there anyway that I can take the SIM out & put mines in, and then activate it, so that my mom can keep her Blackjack?

Just swap the sim from your current phone into the new one

Swap the SIMS.. sounds complicated i know, if you need further help report back and good luck hopefully you wont brick your phone.

yep

as long as everybody in the family is paying the bills and nobody complains ATT isn't going to worry about it to much. if they ask your mom decided to give tiy her 3gs. What a nice mom you have! :D

Make sure you have the account holder call AT&T to cancel the data plan that will be tagged to your mom's account. They will automatically add the iPhone plan since you bought the phone on her line. I'm speaking from experience.
