Other IPhone upgrade program - pay off early?

I’m thinking of possibly doing the apple upgrade program since I upgrade my phones every year. If I were to start it now for example, can I pay it off by the release of the 15 and then upgrade to the 15 on launch?

Will it be better to start at launch instead? Thoughts?

Yeah, better to just start at the launch of the 15. That way, the upgrade timing is aligned with the release cadence.
