Hello,
I'm a little confused by how the UK iPhone Upgrade Programme works. There's an upfront payment of £69 (both on joining and on upgrade) and then 11 monthly payments must be made before being eligible to upgrade. That all makes sense, but...
I have just joined and paid the upfront payment, and my 11th monthly payment will be taken on 25th August 2022. At that point I'll have made enough payments to be eligible to upgrade, however a 12th payment will be scheduled for 25th September 2022. What happens if the iPhone is released a day or two later next year?
This means I would pay a monthly payment on 25th September 2022, hand in the iPhone a day or two later, and then have to pay another upfront payment for the new one (effectively making two payments in the same month, a couple of days apart). This must happen to people occasionally, with it being 11 monthly payments and not 12, so I'm hoping somebody who's been on the UK Programme can advise.
Thanks in advance!
