I was looking forward to watching my just taken iphone4 videos. These aren't edited just uploaded to iPhoto.

They don't appear in photos though so do you need to drag them to iTunes???

I know when I want to see my Flip videos (similar concept...they get loaded into iPhoto) I just go into iMovie, edit how I want and then Share that with iTunes.

It doesn't seem that you couldn't just drag one directly to iTunes. Give it a try. I don't do it that way since I edit down most of my material.

The way it currently works isn't optimal if you don't plan on doing any edits. There is a thread on the Apple forums about this.

Once Airplay is available next month though, your just taken iPhone 4 videos will be able to be playing straight from your iPhone without even uploading to iPhoto. You can even edit them first on the iPhone with Apple's iMovie iOS app.
