I recently upgraded to Vista after having my iphone for a few months. Since upgrading, when I plug my iphone into my computer, the computer recognizes it, but iTunes does not. Consequently, I can't add any new music or videos. I have tried everything that apple recommends including restarting computer, reinstalling itunes, etc, but still doesn't work. I have considered resetting my iphone and starting from scratch, but I'm afraid if I do, iTunes still won't recognize it, and then I'll have absolutely nothing on my iphone. Has anyone else had similar issues, and if so what did you do about it. Thanks all,

Kevin

Yes, I am having the same problem. I followed all of the troubleshooting tips, was on the phone with Apple for two days and still couldn't get itunes to recognize my iphone.

I then connected to my second computer that has Windows XP and itunes recognized it with no problem, so it has to be a Vista issue.

My only problem is that the computer with XP doesn't have anything on it such as music, photos, etc, so I still can't put anything on the iphone.
