I am studying the design of iPhone products and was wondering what material and manufacturing process might have been used to manufacture the iphone volume button . Does anyone know?

You stated you're studying the design of the iPhone and was wondering what material would be use for the volume button? Are you referring strictly to the iPhone 8 Plus or what model iPhone are you referring to specifically?

It depends.. each iPhone type as a different mix of plastic/materials
