iPhone vs iPad data question

If I download/stream movies onto my iPhone and iPad, would the files be the same size?

Also, anyone have any idea what is the size of a typical movie that is being steamed from Netflix? Would it be as big as a movie downloaded from a DVD onto an iPad?

If your movie is the same resolution on both devices (320p/480p/720p) then the data transfer rates would be the same for both devices (at least this is true for YouTube). I am not sure about Netflix though, I haven't tried Netflix for iPhone....but if the resolutions are the same on both devices then the data transfer rates SHOULD be exactly the same for both iPhone and iPad.
