iPhone wallet case with strong magnet: good or bad?

Hello,

I purchased a iPhone wallet case which has a magnetic strap to close the wallet.

The magnet is pretty strong. It snaps really hard on the wallet but thats not rwally worrying me. What im worried about is that the strength of the magnet could damage or interfere with my iPhone in some way.

Does anyone know if magnets have an effect on iphones? Can they cause damage?
