I downloaded quite a few wallpapers for my iPhone but not all of them will sync. They are all in jpg format and are 320x480. Anyone know any reason why iTunes would give me an error saying that the pictures were not transferred because they can not be viewed on the iPhone? Is it possible I have to many pics in one folder and need to make to folders to sync the pictures?

I had the same problem. Now I just save them as PNG, make a 75x75 thumbnail and stick the in /Library/Wallpapers/##.png and ##.thumbnail.png
Then they show up in the Wallpapers menu.

that you use from the library of I photo favorites on the phone or would I save then into the computer I phone library and call the folder I phone Wall? I think I just answered my own question? I like to change depending on WHO sees the phone that day!

I have not experienced this problem. I have downloaded some online that were "made" for the iPhone, have made some from some desktop pictures I use and some from pictures I have taken, and all work fine. 60 in all on my iPhone right now.

Are you aware that you are giving extra effort into typing iPhone incorrectly?
It's not I phone. There's no space about it. The "i" is to be lowercase, the word following it is capitalized.

It's just a weird problem with iTunes for Windows. I have not experienced it on my Mac ever.

Apple goes out of their way to make the names of their products as blatant as possible. The words are iPod, iTunes, iPhone, iLife, iMac, iWork, iCal, iDVD, iMovie, et cetera.
Why is it that I constantly see people typing it wrong in forums? What is an I-pod? Why type it incorrectly? You've added a step, instead of 4 characters and 5 button presses, you've managed to turn it into 5 characters and 6 button presses. And for what? So you can type it out incorrectly?
What's the point? Just type iphone or iPhone, why capitalize the "i" which Apple makes a point NOT to capitalize, then add a space that is pointless, and then put phone?
