It's possible I will be in the USA for the iPhone X launch and wondering whether to pick up a handset whilst there. Would be coming back to the UK but I can't seem to find what warranties (if any) are offered on handsets when sending for repairs in a country you haven't the purchased it in.

Has anyone had an experience of this?

London, England.
I can’t find the document at the mo, but Apple’s policy is essentially anything that can power itself has a global warranty (so phones, watches, laptops and iPads).

iMacs and Mac Pros wouldn’t be eligible for global cover.
