I have a jailbroken iphone with ziphone. I want to bring it back in to have the battery replaced before the warranty gives because i cant go past 2 days with minimal use, or even a few hours of playing music.

What is the best way to get everything back to normal on my phone so i can bring it into the store?

Also, my glass is cracked, which is why i wanna bring it in to have the battery replaced before i fix the glass myself, anyone see anything going amiss when i do this?

They may do one of two things, replace the entire unit, as you have 2 things wrong, or they may say the battery is not under warranty because the glass is cracked. Essentially telling you you were too rough with it, and therefore anything wrong with it now is not under warranty. Similar to when I dropped a phone in the water, and it scratched up the outside display. (skidded across the gravel and hit a puddle). It got water inside, and therefore was not covered under warranty at all. Even though the phone worked perfectly, and all I wanted was a replacement for the plastic on the outside of the flip, since it was rough and would catch on things.

Hopefully you will not experience the latter. I can see it going either way depending on what type of rep you get when you take it in.

Ive never been close to water before, it just cracked on the screen.

I guess if I am lucky they will just give me a new phone.

Whats the best way to get my phone back to the original state? I heard things about ziphone messing with basebands/bootloaders?

Restore the phone.

They wont give you a new phone. The screen is cracked which isn't covered under warranty. £166 for a repair.

I never said you had been close to water, I was just stating that I have had previous experience with one issue that I DIDN'T want fixed causing them to not replace something I DID want fixed, and was under warranty.
