Will it be possible to download widgets for the iPhone?
I mean It's got all the standards!

·a "mini-dashboard"

Yah, I think widgets will be a possibility, but apple hasn't talked about any third party software (other than google and yahoo apps), so it is kind of up in the air.

Steve mentioned widgets in the keynote but I believe someone later mentioned that the widgets would not be the same widgets you use on the mac but they would be specifically for the iPhone. I honestly dont use the widgets I have right now except maybe calculator and of course my iphone countdown timer
