Hey all,
I'm unlocked and on tmobile with no edge, so I notice when my wifi goes out quite quickly.

I noticed that the wifi signal strength monitor is quite buggy, sometimes saying I have full strength yet nothing is loading,

and others when it says I have Edge (zero) bars when I am within my wifi network.

When I go in to General Settings to check it out, my wifi network always shows signal strength. It's really odd.

I also have a had a hard time accessing wifi at certain locations like at work.

anyone else with wifi bugs?

running 1.1

the only solution I found so far is to "turn off wifi" then turn it back on again.

It's funny, before you select the network, it accurately tells the signal. after you select the network, it goes to full strength (inaccurately)!

Odd.

Noticed the same issue here. Using a 1.1.1 handset on O2.

Do you have your wifi secured? I never used to have this problem but recently (as in Friday night) installed a new router and activated WPA. Now my signal bounces all over the place, from full down to 1 dot.

Any one else?

Dunno about iPhones (as i don't have one yet) But my Powerbook does this too. Soon as you connect to any network it will show full strength then drop off to the actual level and if there is only 1 bar then it is hit or miss as to whether you can actually load a page or not
