Iphone Wifi store account problems

Im either stupid or missing something but I can't find a way to get the Wifi music store on my iphone to recognize my itunes account.

Any tips or help?

I believe you have to sign into your account through iTunes and then plug in your device. At least that's what I believe I did with my iPod touch.

Also, if you manage your music manually, you need to hit "File -> Transfer Purchases from iPod" to manually move your wifi itunes store purchases to your iTunes library.

I tried that but didnt work

Its giving me the " No account information found. Please connect to your itunes to configure your account."

And you're signed into your account through iTunes on your desktop? Once you are, try syncing. Then try using the store from your device.
