iphone Will Have Live Video Chat

So? That doesn't mean all phone will have it, and certainly doesn't mean the iPhone will have it.

Maybe hidden behind the black sleekness of the phone next to the ear speaker is a front facing video camera seperate from the one on the back...well a guy can dream can't he

What a stupid feature. Who actually wants that? Video chat is good for kids and grandparents. That's it. I don't want to watch my dad pick his nose while we talk. I definitely don't want my boss to know where I am at 4pm on Friday. Not trying to bash the post, I just think it is an over-hyped, not-gonna-happen feature.
This is why features like this are optional. Does your boss see you pick your nose over iChat?
my current phone has video calling. ive only ever used it once, and it was the most pointless thing in the world. Im all for being able to send video as a message, but video calling is useless for the most of us. Obviously some people may want it, like if the work away, and want to see the wife and kids etc, but then the quality (in my experience) isnt all that anyways.
I haven't seen these ATT commercials, but presumably any video chat will have to take place with a 3G (HSDPA or UTMS) enabled phone. It is far more likely to be a feature in the Rev. B version of the iPhone, which will presumably feature HSDPA (or, if it takes Apple long enough, to get Rev. B out the door, WiMAX).
